Libertarian Party of West Michigan Oversight Committee Meeting

We will have a brief Oversight Committee meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, December 10, at 7 pm.  Note the November email newsletter had an incorrect date – the meeting is Tuesday, December 10, NOT December 14.  It is very important that you attend, so we will have a quorum to conduct business.

Vice Chair Patty Malowney has resigned from her position as Vice Chair due to the competing demands on her time of her three jobs.  At the meeting we will select her replacement, who will serve the balance of her term through the end of calendar year 2020.

Also at the meeting, the members of the Oversight Committee who do not sit on the Committee by reason of having been a candidate in a West Michigan district, may fill the vacancies on the Committee created by the death of Arnie Davidsons and the resignation of Geddy Whalen.  These replacements will serve until the adjournment of the 2020 LPWM fall convention.

There is also the vacancy as Chair of the Membership committee. This position will take lead on securing the venue for the monthly meetings and contacting potential speakers.

Please contact Chair Jamie Lewis if you are interested in serving in these roles or know someone who is.  Anyone who serves must be a member in good standing of the LPWM, having paid annual dues of at least $5.
